1. Forma e significato

1.1 Analisi dell'espressione "opere di...."

Le strutture di superficie sono "multifunzionali", nel senso che una determinata costruzione grammaticale può rimandare a diversi significati, a seconda del contesto. In più, una determinata parola o espressione può svolgere diverse funzioni simultaneamente.

Ciascuna delle seguenti citazioni contiene una frase preposizionale includente l’espressione "opera di..." o "opere di...". Rielaborate ogni frase così da eliminare il termine "di" ed esprimere senza ambiguità il significato della costruzione. Per formulare una risposta corretta, vi sarà necessario osservare il contesto relativo ad ogni frase. Riportiamo alcuni esempi in diverse lingue.

1.3 Identificare il significato sottostante di strutture grammaticali identiche

In ognuno dei seguenti esercizi, sono citati due o tre versi in cui viene usata una medesima costruzione grammaticale ma con un significato differente. Riformulare in modo da mostrare la differenza di significato.

Esempio:

1.4 Titpi di trasformazioni

Nel produrre una traduzione dinamica, sovente alcune trasformazioni nella forma sono opportune per mantenere il medesimo senso dell’originale. Alcune di queste trasformazioni sono:

a) grammaticali: uso di una diversa costruzione, ma con le medesime parti del discorso (es. verbo da passivo in attivo)

b) uso di una frase al posto di un sostantivo, o viceversa

c) cambio dell’ordine degli elementi all’interno di una frase

d) sostituzione delle parti di discorso usate (es. cambio di un nome in un verbo o in una frase completa)

e) sostituzione di una frase idiomatica o di una figura discorsiva nell’originale con una non idiomatica o non figurativa nella traduzione

Nei seguenti passaggi, dopo una traduzione formale, riportiamo alcune altre traduzioni dinamiche. Indicare quale tipo di trasformazione è stato introdotto, facendo uso delle lettere sopra indicate.

Esempio:
